Roof cleaning Questions

  • Roof cleaning is the process of removing algae, organic growth, mildew, lichen and moss from roofs.

  • Here at Ecoclean we utilize high pressure water also known as power washing, to clean ones roof. This will effectively remove organic growth, mildew, algae, dirt, dust, grime, and loose pain.

  • Experts recommend power washing your roof every 1-3 years, depending on factors like your local climate, the type of roof material, and how much debris accumulates on it.

Carpet cleaning Questions

  • Our vehicles here are Ecoclean are equipped with steam cleaning carpet cleaning machines that utilize hot water extraction.

  • Here at Ecoclean we use a soap free Procyon.

  • We will absolutely try our best but cannot guarantee. There are substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning but they are not always able to determine this before trying to remove the spots. 

  • The time it takes for your carpet to dry can vary depending on factors like humidity, temperature, and airflow. Typically, it ranges from 8-24 hours considering these variables. To expedite drying, utilize fans in the cleaned rooms and adjust your air conditioning or heating system accordingly based on the season. Keep the protective blocks under furniture legs and any paper beneath upholstered items until both the carpet and furniture are completely dry to prevent potential color transfer.

  • As the carpet dries, these bubbles or ripples should start to lay flat again. Once it is dry they should be virtually unnoticeable. This is usually a sign that the carpet was in need of re-stretching prior to the carpet cleaning.

  • We cannot guarantee that we will remove all carpet spots or stains. There are substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. This method is highly effective in removing tough stains, grease, algae, and mildew, leaving surfaces looking fresh and revitalized.

  • Any exterior walls or siding of your home, your roof, driveways, walkways, patios, decks, fences, garbage cans, and concrete surfaces like stairs or steps. If the material can withstand the pressure and hot water, we can clean it!

Tile and grout cleaning Questions

  • Yes! We scrub each individual grout line as well as tiles with tile and grout specific cleaners. We clean using high heat and high pressure water that is hooked up to our truck-mounted unit that will extract the dirt and grime embedded in the grout lines.

  • Grout is a porous material that absorbs soil and spills, just like carpet. Having a sealant applied will help create a protective barrier, giving you more time to clean up dirt and liquid spills before they soak into the grout. We here at Ecoclean use an impregnating sealer.

  • We recommend that you wait 30 minutes before walking on the floor to allow the sealant to dry. It will take 24 hours for the sealant to cure completely, so we suggest that you avoid any liquid coming in contact with the sealant during that time.

  • Many factors must be considered when determining the frequency of tile and grout cleaning. Foot traffic, children, pets, and routine floor maintenance will affect how often you need to have your tile and grout cleaned. To maintain the best condition, it is advisable to have a professional deep cleaning every 12 months.
